I was asked again if I could install some apps on their Android device, this time with a
Kindle Fire HD, to which I happily agreed (
a chance to do a hands-on review on a new device! ^_^ ). Amazon's
Kindle Fire HD is a 7" HD Display Tablet with exclusive Dolby Audio, and ultra fast Wi-Fi running on Android OS. The build of this device feels solid but also feels a bit heavy for its size.
Kindle Fire HD is not the usual Android device. When I first laid hold of it, I said, "How can I install apps on this?" Haha! Need to ask Mr. Google first. Although I have already transferred the files through the computer, I could not find the Apps/File Manager. So what I did, I have to connect to the internet to download the apps. Good thing this Amazon tablet has a dual-band, dual-antenna Wi-fi for an ultra fast Wi-fi connectivity and indeed, downloading was fast (a bit faster than iPad).
